About Unsaid Planners | Our Story

“Because some things should never be left unsaid.”
Hi, I’m Kate — a Canberra-based wills and estates lawyer by training, a mum of three, and a daughter who has experienced the loss of a parent.
After losing my father, I found myself navigating estate administration not just with legal knowledge, but with grief. Even with that background, it was overwhelming — emotionally and practically.
That experience changed everything.
What began as a way to organise my own thoughts became something more: a vision for gentle, accessible, and neuro-affirming tools to help others prepare for life’s hardest moments — before they happen, and after.
I’m an AuDHD (autistic + ADHD) founder, and that shapes how I design everything at Unsaid Planners™ — with clarity, structure, and compassion at the centre.
After time in legal practice, I realised I needed to step away from traditional legal work and focus on building something that better reflects my strengths and values. This is a slower, more intentional path — one centred on creating practical, human-centred tools that genuinely support people through difficult moments.
Unsaid Planners™ offers thoughtfully designed digital and printed tools to support end-of-life planning and estate administration in Australia. They are informed by legal experience, but never clinical — created to help you feel calm, organised, and supported when it matters most.
Because love, legacy, and peace of mind deserve to be written down — not left unsaid.
Give them your words.
